Dredge Cadet:
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) from Institutes approved by D.G. Shipping.
Trainee Marine Engineer:
- Educational Qualification:
- 4-year degree in Marine Engineering from IMU-affiliated colleges/Institutes approved by D.G. Shipping, or
- Graduate Marine Engineering from a recognized university.
Trainee Electrical Officer:
- Educational Qualification:
- 4-year Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication/Communication Engineering, or Electronics & Instrumentation from a recognized State/Central Government or AICTE-approved institution.
- 4-month Electro Technical Officer course from a DG Shipping approved Institute.
